Denny’s is returning to Greensboro

Denny’s is returning to Greensboro. A Denny’s restaurant is opening at 3707 W. Gate City Blvd.

It is opening at the intersection of Holden Road in a free-standing building, formerly Mekong Market, at the outer edge of the parking lot of a shopping center anchored by Li Ming’s Global Mart.

Jillian Hutwagner, a manager at Erwin Penland, a public relations firm representing Denny’s, confirmed the restaurant is opening. She said it may open as soon as May, but added “these dates do change frequently.”

The new restaurant will feature a dining room of around 900 square feet.

It shares the same parking lot with Walgreens and Jake’s Diner, another 24-hour restaurant.

A Denny’s restaurant operated at 3900 S. Holden Road in Greensboro for many years before closing in 2011.

Open 24 hours a day, Denny’s offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The nearest Denny’s locations to Greensboro are in Kernersville, Thomasville and Haw River.
