For Beth and Doug Jensen, owning a successful business in Pensacola is nothing new. However, after owning and operating several Massage Envy locations in Pensacola, they decided it was time to come out swinging with a franchise that offers a new boutique boxing and kickboxing concept.
TITLE Boxing Club will open its doors Dec. 14, with two classes that will be held at 4 and 6 p.m.
“We love TITLE and the concept of TITLE,” Beth Jensen said. “They try to build a community where everyone knows everybody’s name. No one gets to know each other anymore and TITLE offers it.”
The 3,200 square foot building at 875 E. Nine Mile Road will feature brick-lined walls and lighting that gives the location an “old-school” vibe.
“What we’re most famous for is the ‘power hour,’” Jensen said. “It’s an intense workout made for everyone. You can burn as much as 1,000 calories.”
In addition to the intense workouts, a trainers circle will allow members to sit and wrap their hands and warm up before class in a semi-circle design surrounded by benches. And 100-pound heavy bags will hang from the ceiling — ideal to take a beating from people looking to knock out stress and engage in an intense, fun and effective workout.
“We plan to have each of our members achieve their health and fitness goals by providing them with expert workouts based on professional boxer’s training regimens,” Jensen said.
TITLE Boxing Club encourages participants at all fitness levels to workout at their own pace. The 30-, 60- and 75-minute, trainer-led workouts take place in a hip, high-energy fitness studio and combine bouts of intense cardio and boxing exercises with short periods of active rest.
“We give everyone the opportunity to train,” Jensen said. “We have people from all different backgrounds. And it’s nothing you’ll find in Pensacola.” Source: http://www.pnj.com/story/money/business/2016/12/04/wolfe-new-nine-mile-road-business-really-packs-punch/94840190/
