Denny’s has become one of the largest, full-service American restaurant brands in the world. It is not only an American icon, but an International icon as well. Denny’s franchise at Logan’s Bridgerland Square Shopping Center is expected to open on December 13.
Denise Marmolejo, Denny’s senior field marketing manager, issued a prepared statement on the Logan Denny’s opening.

Opening a restaurant in Logan creates local job opportunities and contributes to future community growth,” Marmolejo said. “We hope this restaurant will become a place for friends, families and loved ones to gather around the table for great food at a great value.”
Denny’s originally opened in Lakewood, California in 1953 under Harold Butler and Richard Jezak as Danny’s Donuts. In 1977, its signature dish, the Grand Slam, named after baseball legend Hank Aaron, was introduced. Denny’s, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has 1,700 locations nationally and internationally.
