Fuddruckers has opened its third location in Italy.
Through a partnership with Italian franchisee Vinum et Alia, a 5,500-square-foot restaurant has opened in Casnate con Bernate, a city in the province of Como and about 20 miles north of Milan.
The restaurant seats up to 250 people and features a fast casual setup and an “American-style” interior, according to Luby’s, which operates Fuddruckers.
In a statement, Luby’s Chief Operating Officer Peter Tropoli said Fuddruckers continues “to expand our footprint in Italy while quickly earning fans throughout the country” with its ingredient mix and never-frozen locally sourced Italian beef.
Other Fuddruckers in Italty are one in Legnano and another in Varese, both northwest and north of Milan, respectively.
Luby’s operates 74 and franchises 110 Fuddruckers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Italy, Poland, Chile and the Dominican Republic. The company’s other brands are Luby’s Cafeteria, Bob Luby’s Seafood Grill and Cheeseburger in Paradise.
