Taco Bell opens 2 more outlets in Mumbai

America’s largest Mexican fast food restaurant chain, Taco Bell has launched two more outlets in Mumbai, one at RCity Mall, Ghatkopar and the other at Viviana Mall, Thane.Launched in India in 2010, Taco Bell has four restaurants in Bengaluru and three in Mumbai. Following the launch of its outlet in Oberoi Mall, Goregaon in 2013, this will be Taco Bell’s first leg of expansion in Mumbai, as per a release.With over 6,000 stores in 16 countries, Taco Bell – part of Yum! Restaurants India, which is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands – is a Mexican food chain. The brand serves new types of Mexican fast food.The new food formats, differentiated tastes and even the new eating styles that some products demand make Taco Bell a place for complete ˜Food Adventure” for consumers. McDonald’s opens two outlets in Mangalore


Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited (HRPL), a Master Franchisee for West & South India operations of McDonald’s restaurants and a subsidiary of the BSE listed Westlife Development Limited entered Mangalore with the opening of two restaurants in quick succession. These launches add to the established network of 74 restaurants across Southern India. McDonald’s Forum Fiza Mall sprawls over 3500 sq. ft while the restaurant at City Centre Mall can seat up to 134 guests within the restaurant and 32 guests outdoors. McDonald’s operates through various formats and brand extensions including standalone restaurants, drive-thru’s, 24/7, McDelivery, Web and Mobile ordering, Breakfasts and dessert Kiosks. Sbarro added another outlet in New Delhi

Burger King to open more stores in Delhi & Mumbai

Burger King, one of the largest fast food hamburger chains in the world, recently announced the opening of first Burger King restaurant in New Delhi. Approximately 100 percent of Burger King restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees. The restaurant opening in New Delhi is expected to be followed by additional openings in New Delhi and Mumbai as well as expansion in new cities and regions in 2015. Burger King India Private Limited is a joint venture formed last year by BK Asiapac, Pte. and Everstone Capital, a leading India and South East Asia focused investor with dedicated private equity and real estate funds, to develop the Burger King brand in India. The opening marked not only the debut of Burger King in India, but also a milestone for the brand, which is now operating in its 100th country. Burger King operates in approximately 14,000 locations serving more than 11 million guests daily in nearly 100 countries and territories worldwide.
